As early as March this year, there were news that HTC would launch the flagship product HTC Butterfly subsequent version – HTC Butterfly 2, but there has been no news that when it would be launched. Today, the news from the DigiTimes said, the HTC Butterfly 2 will be released in the third quarter (Q3).

According to technology website DigiTimes, in view of Samsung to launch GALAXY Note III in the second half of this year and LG Optimus G2 will also debut then, in order to respond to their competition in the market, HTC will launch HTC Butterfly 2 in the third quarter of this year. So the HTC Butterfly 2 is expected to be released in July this year at the earliest.

As to the HTC Butterfly configuration, DigiTimes reported, the phone will use 1080p (1080 x 1920 pixels) Full HD screen, but also it has a larger screen (more than 5 inches), and it will also have some new features, such as the HTC BlinkFeed similar to the new HTC One, BoomSound and UltrapPixel.

In addition, as the follow-up product of the HTC Butterfly, it’s expected that the device will be equipped with new Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor, the overall configuration will be even better than the previous generation products.
