The U.S. technology website CNET recently published an article that, the price of the touch screen computers based on the Microsoft Windows operating system is high, which seriously affected the sales of the product. This is mainly because of the low production yield of the touch screen.

However, the recent message from the suppliers that the production yield of the touch screen can be controlled more than 85%, which may cause the overall decline of the price of touch screen laptops in the third quarter.

It’s reported that the size of the touch screen panel production scale within the year is increased significantly. Per square inch touch screen costs have decreased by $ 0.5. Suppliers predict that in the third quarter of this year, the price of the touch screen panel may be reduced by 20%. According to this view, the traditional 13.3-inch touch screen panel price may be reduced to $ 50.
