But according to the active performance of Sony in Android open source projects (AOSP), it’s not surprise for Sony to release Google edition Xperia Z. The Xperia Z has not yet visited the United States market, allegedly it will be launched by T-Mobile in a few weeks.

Currently, Sony and Google are working together to develop Google version Xperia Z, but the device will not be released until July. In April this year, Sony released the AOSP ROM of the Xperia Z, but it has many bug and is not suitable for daily use ROM. Therefore,the quality may be more secured through and the depth cooperation with Google to develop Google version.

According to reports, Google version Sony Xperia Z will be sold through the Google Play Store, and priced at $ 599. It’s with 5-inch 1080p TFT screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor, 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM. It supports microSD card, it has 13 MP rear camera, and it’s waterproof and dustproof.
