Archos has shipped its 7-inch “jelly beans” Gamepad to the United States market, in addition to with the entitative control keys, it can also run most games on Google Play, and it’s priced at $ 179. This 7-inch handheld is essentially an Android 4.1 “Jelly Bean” tablet device, which allows users to specify their preferred control schemes for each game. Archos Gamepad is equipped with a dual-core 1.6GHz Cortex A9 CPU and 1GB RAM.

Archos Gamepad screen is 7-inch with a resolution of 1024×600, the appearance is a bit like the Sony’s PSV. It’s with quad-core Mali 400MP GPU, 8GB internal storage, supports up to 64GB microSD card expansion. It has 1.2-megapixel front camera and 2 megapixel rear camera.

In addition to providing a mobile gaming platform combined touch and physical buttons (2 joystick) control, it also has the four-way keys, D-pad, and two Shoulder Buttons. The Archos Gamepad comes with this French media center applications, including supporing music and video applications, multiple video decoding and the automatic subtitles.
