It has been reported that Nokia will launch a new Windows Phone 8 flagship phone – Lumia 928 for the U.S. operator Verizon in April. Because it is a variant of the Lumia 920, the Lumia 928 CPU and RAM are same with the Lumia 920′s, it’s with 4.5-inch OLED display, and changes to the aluminum metal body to make the machine more slim and light, and also it’s woth xenon and dual LED flash 8 megapixel PureView camera.
And in February this year, there were news that Lumia 928 had passed the FCC’s confirmation, which means that the product will soon been published and listed.
In addition, according to WPCentral Forum Posts, the Verizon Lumia 928 will have a variety of colors to choose from, including white, black, green and red, and has 16GB internal storage + Micro SD expansion card.
Verizon chooses to launch the WP new machine in April in order to avoid the Android phone. This spring will be a turning point, the BlackBerry Z10 and Windows Phone handsets will guide the market. As for the speculation about the selling price, Lumia 928 will be $100 cheaper than Verizon’s Android new machines, and $150 cheaper than the iPhone. They guess the Lumia 928 bare machine price might be $550, and the contract price is $200.
Of course, these are just media speculations, Verizon and Nokia did not officially disclose or publish any information of this new machine, but Nokia will soon publish relevant information, we will wait and see.
