Taiwan’s MediaTek has recently released a new quad-core MT8125 tablet PC processor, and Lenovo’s upcoming IdeaTab device has been announced to adopt this processor.

The MT8125 chip contains an 1.5GHz quad-core processor produced by ARM Cortex A7 CPU and dedicated graphics processor that can support 1080p HD video playback and up to 13 megapixel camera. In addition, the MT8125 is also equipped with the modem that supports 3G HSPA+, 2G EDGE and Wi-Fi.

According to the news from MediaTek, Lenovo IdeaTab S6000 Android Tablet PC will use this new chip.
