Mini PC is moving from novelty to practical, while meet the needs of the portable computer, it is also able to provide more functionalities than the standard set-top box. This GB-XM1-3537 mini PC Gigabyte launched, we are more willing to call it as BRIX.

The Brix supports the standard VESA mount, so it can be placed behind the display, or hung on the wall. Its framework is anthracite aluminum, covered with a mirror.

In the back of the Brix, it’s equipped with six ports: HDMI, Mini DisplayPort, USB 3.0, RJ-45, power supply/DC port, and a Kensington lock slot. Its front side is with another USB 3.0 interface.

In its interior, there is an optional mSATA and half-height mini-PCIe expansion slots (also the location of the wireless network card).

The Brix can choose the 2GHz Intel Core i7 processor, or the cheaper i3 and i5. The two DDR3 memory slots support up to 16GB memory. Graphical is output through the integrated graphics processor, the LAN interface is from a Realtek Gigabit network chip.
