The Archos has recently ingenuity launched the a cook tablet- ChefPad. The tablet is equipped with a 1024×768 resolution 9.7-inch touch screen and unspecified 1.6GHz dual-core processor, and it runs Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) operating system. However, as a “low-end” device, it only provides 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage (with microSD expansion card slot), as well as two 2-megapixel front and rear cameras.
As the name implies, this Archos cook tablet, will be equipped with a set of exclusive package called Chef Apps Selection, which is oriented tp food lovers who like to toss in the kitchen.
However, the kitchen where is full of knife and fork and lampblack can be said as a dangerous place. So Archos provides the ChefPad with the adapter bracket and silicone sets.
The ChefPad is with a Mini HDMI port that supports wireless connection, which makes this device looks a little bit strange. Fortunately, its price is only ￡149.99 ($ 230.14) – cheaper than the Nexus 7 sold in the UK.
The tablet will be firstly launched in the UK in June.
