Few months since the release of the MeMO Pad ME301T, a tablet coded Asus K005 has recently unveiled in FCC website, which may be a new product in the MeMO Tablet PC series. Seen from the label at the back of the tablet, the K005 is likely to be a 10-inch tablet.
According to the report from the Taiwan media VR-Zone, the Asus K005 is the rumored ASUS MeMO Pad ME302KL. If the report is true, then the tablet is likely to be equipped with a 10 inches 1920*1200 resolution touch screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor and Adreno 320 GPU, and with 1GB RAM and a minimum of 16GB ROM.
In addition, it is reported the tablet has a thickness of 0.4 feet (10.2 mm) and it weighs 1.3 pounds (590 grams), and it’s equipped with front and rear dual cameras and 5050 mAh lithium battery, it supports for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and it has 3G and 4G versions available.
The above hardware configurations match the configuration published on the FCC and NCC. But before the listing, Asus K005 also need to obtain certifications of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GSM/WCDMA/LTE and other aspects.
